Smug! and less smug!
So yesterday we weeded the blueberry patch and mulched with rhododendron soil, planted onions, pruned raspberry canes and blackberries too and then today it snowed!
When Bio gas man decided to suggest that growing 'something useful' would be more inspiring than cutting the hedge, our allotment idea was born. We have been fairly conscientious 'pale green' people for a long time and this was our biggest step into more considerate living.
